However, tons of tourists can be still disappointed. Why? The rason is rather obvious. Many of them have heard that in Poland (mining equipment manufacturing) it is possible to experience everything you want – sea, lakes, rivers and mountains (find out something). However, it is not repeatedly mentioned, that transport between these spots is not so good. Even though new train connections have been introduced recently , most of them are still pretty slow. For example, it might take up to dozen hours to travel from the lakes to the mountains. Even though there are some express train, there are far more expensive than the typical one. Coach companies do their best, to offer better connections. They offer fast and very well organized bus connections, not only connecting big Polish cities, but neighboring countries. This is worth to mention that bus companies perfectly fit into the market niche. Passengers, tired with slow and eternally delayed trains, started to travel mainly by buses. However, it is still worth to be aware, that there are not many highways yet. It means that even though coaches companies try their best to make travel as fast as possible, the travel time still largely depends on existing roads. So, travel from one site of the country to the other one, may still take a long time.
Luckily, the problem has been observed by lots of airlines. Not that long ago, domestic flights were not that fashionable. Even though there were, for example, flights to Wroclaw, there were quite expensive compared to trains or buses connections. Thus, they were not very popular. It was very similar case with flights to neighbouring countries, e.g., flights from warsaw to Vilnius. A while ago, individuals were travelling mostly by buses (visit ). Luckily, this has changed already. Airlines began to notice the huge potential in the needs of passengers travelling on short distances. They not just introduced new connections between different Polish cities and neighbouring countries, but also started to have more competitive prices.
